Hello readers! I’m Michael, a naturalist, explorer, and novelist. I’ve always had a soft spot in my literary tastes for science-fiction and fantasy. For the moment, I live in the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with my three adorable dogs.

Art and Layout Editor | Tyler Mackie | he/they

Hi everyone. I’m Tyler, one of the Nonfiction editors and the genre’s representative on the Art and Layout team. I’m a graduating senior majoring in English: Creative Writing. I have an immense passion for the art of storytelling and love meaningful stories that keep you thinking about their messages long after they’re done. My favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy, and I have a particular fondness for comics/manga. I also enjoy gaming and playing TTRPGs, and have slowly (and I do mean SLOWLY) been trying to get better at drawing. Anyway, I hope you all get as much out of this issue as our whole team put into it.
