Sayantani Roy

Sayantani Roy works out of the Seattle area. Her writing appears or is forthcoming in Alan Squire Publishing Bulletin, Emerge Literary Journal, McQueen’s Quinterly, TIMBER, West Trestle Review, and elsewhere. Her artwork has been published in Contemporary Haibun Online (haiga) and haikuNetra. She was selected as a 2024 fiction mentee in the AWP Writer-to-Writer mentorship program. Artist’s Statement

Kodaikanal is a colonial era hill station in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. The eponymous lake is manmade, yet sublime and timeless in its beauty. I hope I was able to capture that timeless quality in these photos.
