Ana Jovanovska

Ana Jovanovska is an artist with an M.F.A. in the field of Printmaking, now based between Macedonia and Japan. She is active as an artist, a graphic designer, and an occasional writer, with numerous exhibitions and recognitions for her work, with 12 independent, and more than 250 group exhibitions around the world. Artist’s Statement

Jovanovska’s practice is rooted in researching and creating through the re-examining and retelling of narratives, debating that the structure of society is conditioned by the structure of language itself. Jovanovska is interested in mixing techniques while exploring more sustainable types of art making, ranging from printmaking and art books to video and installation.
